• Students of Mathematics are encouraged to participate in various competitive exams and extra effort is put in by the faculty so that students get internships.

Department Of Physics

• Physics is the natural science which examines basic concepts such as mass, charge, matter and its motion and all that derives from these, such as energy, force, and space time.
• More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the world and universe behave.
• Over the last two millennia, Physics had been considered synonymous with Philosophy, Chemistry, and certain branches of Mathematics and Biology, but during the Scientific Revolution in the 16th century, it emerged to become a unique modern science in its own right.
• Physics covers a wide range of phenomena, from the smallest sub-atomic particles, to the largest galaxies. Physics aims to describe the various phenomena that occur in nature in terms of simpler phenomena.

Department Of Electronics

ELECTRONICS essentially deals with electronic devices and their utilization. Electronics is a branch of science and technology which deals with study of electron motion in various vacuum tubes, semiconductor devices.

Electronics has gained much importance due to its numerous applications in industry. The micro electronics (IC technology) has made a great impact on communication control, computer industries, quality control and automation. The introduction of new syllabus in Electronics at B.Sc. level matches with B.Tech standard.

• DIGITAL ELECTRONICS is the foundation of digital computers and most of the automated control system.
• MICROPROCESSOR is a program control device which decodes and executes instructions and is used as CPU in computers.

MICRO CONTROLLER is a single chip computer, more suited for control and automation of machines and processes.

Department Of Computer Science

Computer science is the combination of principles, theories and applications of the technologies that underlie the access to information. This science involves studying the structure, mechanization and expression of algorithms, coding, testing and implementation, which are methodical processes for solving problems. Computer science has many branches and sub divisions, each specializing in varied areas such as computational theories, programming, coding, graphics, and complex computation theories, computer networks, Internet and lot more.

Computer Science deals with the use of computers by human beings for speedy work of increased quality and productivity. However, a rather unique aspect of computer science is that it’s not only a very broad discipline, but that it has exceptionally broad application to nearly every other discipline imaginable like Manufacturing, Banking, Communications, Security, Energy, Medicine, Art, Transportation, Sports, Government, Medicine and Hospitals, Entertainment – Photography and Animation, Weather forecasting etc.,

It is the brach of science that deals with the composition, structure and properties of substances and its applications to the reactions to form new substances.

Department Of Zoology

The department of Zoology is established in 1995 is under the umbrella of the school of life sciences for academic and administrative purposes. The department offers B.Sc-C.B.Z, in addition to the structured four semesters theoretical courses with well equipped laboratory facilities. There are nearly 150 students enrolled in the course.

Department Of Botany

The department of Botany was established in the year 1995 along with Chemistry and Zoology to offer C.B.Z course for undergraduate students. To achieve standards and excellence in teaching digital classes are conducted regularly to ensure easy way of learning for the students. The department of Botany has a well equipped laboratory with all amenities to improve practical knowledge and enhance skill among the students. Botanical tours are organized every year to study the locally available flora and vegetation and give practical experience to the students to understand various systems and replenish their knowledge.

Department Of Statistics

Statistics is a mathematical science pertaining to the collection, precentation, analysis, and interpretation of numerical data. It is applicable to a wide variety of academic disciplines, from the natural and social sciences to humanities, government and business.

• Statistics forms a key basis tool in business and manufacturing as well. It is used to understand measurement systems variability, control processes (as in statistical process control or SPSS), for summarizing data, and to make data-driven decisions.
• In these roles, it is a key tool, and perhaps the only reliable tool.
• Some fields of inquiry use applied statistics so extensively that they have specialized terminology.

Statistics is t he study of Data Collection, Data Analysis, interpretation, presentation and organization.

Statistics is applicable to a wide variety of academic disciplines, Social sciences, Government and Business.

Department Of Telugu

Telugu is a major Indian language; it is the 15th largest in the world. Its inscriptional history starts from the year 575 A.D. Telugu is unique in its literature, tradition and cultural heritage.

Activities:

• Developing Telugu studies in relation to other major languages.
• Developing modern applications of language studies with specific emphasis on the present day job market.
• Develops interest in student on literature.
• Brings out the hidden talent in the student in poetic skills.
• Famous Telugu poet’s birth and death anniversaries are being celebrated.

Department Of SANSKRIT

Sanskrit is a rich tradition of poetry and drama as well as scientific, technical, philosophical and religious texts. It has its roots from the year 600 B.C The department of Sanskrit motives the students to improve their knowledge in Sanskrit texts coursing Verbs, Indian Philosophy, and Grammar to understand and realize the glory of ancient India.

Department Of ENGLISH

Department of English improves effective communication, literary, analytical and evaluates skills in students.It tries to incorporate the contemporary approaches to languages and literature.

Department Of LIBRARY

A library plays an important role in the search of knowledge. It serves as the workshop for the entire college – students and faculty alike. This college library aims to support the teaching learning activity and also provide the students with updated knowledge. Our mission is “Today A Reader Tomorrow A Leader” which itself signifies the importance of library in the college environment. The college library is provided with proper ventilation, lightning & fans.

Distinct features of library

• Library account created to the students at the time of admission to borrow textbooks, general books and tabs
• Library is kept open from 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• We also issue tabs in library for referring video sessions.
• To help the students and teachers to reach their full potential by providing multifaced, supportive learning and teaching environment.

Library rules

• All students must make use of the library facility to enrich their academic excellence.
• Only bonafide members are allowed to enter the college library on the strength of a valid identity card, which must be produced as and when it is demanded by the library staff or college teaching staff.
• Complete silence must be maintained in & near the library.
• Students should not bring any electronic gadgets and eatables inside the library.
• Using the cell phone in the library is strictly prohibited.
• Infringement of the library rules will result in the withdrawal of the library facility from the students.
• All cases of the violation of rules will be reported to the principal for suitable action.
• In case of any difficulty, readers can approach the librarian.
• Co-operation of the students is earnestly sought in observing the rule
• The Library is to be used for the purpose of academic study and research and for the consultation of subject and other related material. Everyone on the library shall respect the rights of other users.
