CHEMISTRY

What is Chemistry?

It is the brach of science that deals with the composition, structure and properties of substances and its applications to the reactions to form new substances.

Why Chemistry?
  • It is the one of the fundamental source to the world.
  • Chemistry touches almost every aspect of daily life.
  • It meets the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter health, energy and clean air water and soil.
Chemistry in our College
  • Chemistry is the largest department in the college fully equipped with chemicals including hundreds of Acids, Salts, Bases, Indicators and measuring instrumentation.
  • Chemistry lab fully equipped with
    • Inorganic, Organic & Physical chemistry lab
    • Instrumentation – PH meters, Conductometer, Potentiometer, Digital weighing machine, Script operator.
  • The faculties from this department are also involved in giving guest lecturers, serving as selection committee members to recruit for local and other reputed Parma companies.
  • Ozone day celebrations with information projects are being conducting in the campus.
